Rolled Oat Cereal Bowl

Trader Joe's Rolled Oats

Ingredients for one serving:

  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • ¾ cup of non-dairy milk ( I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
  • 1 sliced banana*
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground flax seed


In a cereal bowl combine all five ingredients.


Eat immediately or let sit for a few moments to allow the oats to moisten.


*I use Rip Esselstyn’s method of slicing bananas for cereal. He quarters the banana lengthwise and then makes horizontal slices. This creates lots of small pieces and ensures banana bites in each mouthful.
