- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 4 bananas, sliced
- 3/4 cup raspberries
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
- 3 tablespoons raisins
- 3 tablespoon chopped walnuts
In a medium saucepan, bring four cups of water to a boil.
Slowly stir in the steel cut oats. Reduce heat to simmer, cover with a lid and cook for 20 minutes or until desired consistency is reached.
Stir in the following toppings: bananas, strawberries, cinnamon, ground flax seed, raisins or walnuts.
Alternative topping ideas: coconut flakes, blueberries, mangoes, strawberries, dried cranberries, pecans, cocoa powder, brown sugar, maple syrup, hemp seeds, chia seeds
