10cupschopped kale, loosely packed2 inch by 2 inch pieces
1teaspoonolive oil
¾teaspoon maple syrupor more for a sweeter chip
2 tablespoonsnutritional yeast
½teaspoonsea salt
¼teaspoongarlic powder
¼teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone sheet.
Place the chopped kale in a large mixing bowl. Add the olive oil and maple syrup. Use two mixing spoons or your hands to toss and thoroughly coat the kale.
Stir in the salt, garlic powder and smoke paprika and mix well.
Spread the kale out evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Place in the preheated oven.
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and toss so that the kale on the outer edge of the pan is moved to the middle and the middle pieces are moved to the outer edge.
Return to the oven and bake for an addionional 10-20 minutes until each piece is dry and crispy. If any pieces are well toasted and others are still moist or soft, you can remove the crispy pieces and return the pan to the oven.
